Perhaps I’m sitting in one to many leadership team meetings, but I feel like I’m collecting some wonderful absurd quotes as leaders navigate through change.  These are actual quotes from VPs and above:

• I’m clear, but I’m not clear.
• Was what I just said okay?
• Can we just skip the hard parts?
• I’m not sure where we’re headed, but let’s just keep going.

We all say things in haste, in frustration (including yours truly) but perhaps today we can all take that extra pause, put on our leader hat, before we speak.
