Saw a great presentation last week at the National Organization Development Conference on how we need to think of our organizations as more fluid.  Think liquid, not solid.  The four step approach:

  1. Paint a picture for people of the shiny bright future
  2. Tell honest stories that people can relate to
  3. Pay attention to what people are thinking AND feeling
  4. View change as energizing (not exhausting)
